No-Sew tape
The No-Sew Tape is the secret to creating seams and hems without sewing. The tape has an embedded adhesive. When you apply heat by using your iron, the tape bonds fabric tightly and permanently. The 1/2-inch wide tape has one side that looks shiny and reflective. The other side of the tape is flat white. The flat white side is actually a separate, protective paper that you remove before ironing the second step of a bonded seam or a finished hem.
The No-Sew Tape has been thoroughly researched and tested by the window covering industry. Because its adhesive coating produces a lasting and durable bond, the fabric will not pull apart. The heat and steam of the iron permanently bonds the tape adhesive.
Gathered Skirt or Curtain tape
This 2-inch wide tape has three dotted stripes of adhesive on one side. When ironed down, a tunnel is created to hold either the elastic of a skirt or a curtain rod. Iron on the felt side, with the shiny adhesive lying flat on the fabric.
